Possessing a pedestal base, this chair isn’t necessarily a rocker, PC office chair, or sofa. It’s more like a standard stationary gaming chair that can tilt and swivel. You’ll also like the pivoting armrests.
X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III
Although it only slightly rocks, we consider this gaming chair more stationary. It has a pedestal base, swivels 360-degrees, and sits closer to the floor than a typical sofa or PC chair.
RESPAWN-900
A hybrid between an office PC gaming chair and a sofa, the RESPAWN-900 is a nice mixture of both. It has a pedestal base, a drink carrier, provides swivel capabilities, and lets you recline backward by 135 degrees. Considering it’s the same height as most PC gaming chairs, you can use it for computer gaming as well as console gaming. Keep in mind, you can also get this chair as a rocker, as well.
Overall, the RESPAWN-900 is the only one of the three optimized for PC gaming while the others are better for console gaming on a TV.
Comfort
The ability to remain comfortable in your gaming chair for extended periods of time only makes your gaming or movie experience that much more enjoyable. If the chair possesses different recline levels or tilt, it’s also important to note which of the levels are comfy and which aren’t.
Ace Casual
In terms of comfort, this chair is quite confusing. There are a group of people who think it’s highly uncomfortable, however, there is a dramatically larger group of users who believe it’s incredibly comfortable. The odd part is the lack of those in the middle. What we have found was this chair is very comfortable but not the best. After long sessions, you might need a short break. However, you’ll love the breathable fabric and ergonomic design. All in all, we give it a 9.3 out of 10 for its comfort.
X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III
Although the speakers sound amazing, vibration brings the game to life, build quality is exceptional, and it’s stunning to look at; the primary downside is the comfort. Oddly enough, this chair appears to be more comfortable for taller people. While most users don’t have good things to say about the comfort, people that are above 6-foot generally have positive things to say. Out of 10, we give it a 7.6 for comfort. But for taller people, the comfort level is around 8.8.

The comfort of this chair is essentially on par with the price as it doesn’t overperform or underperform. For taller people, the headrest is a bit low but it’s adjustable. The padding is a bit stiff as some people prefer it for gaming. Others however are not a fan of the stiff material. The recline is quite nice. Out of 10, we give it a 9 for comfort.
Overall, the Ace Casual is the most comfortable.
Build Quality
What good is your comfortable gaming chair with various features if it breaks sooner than you’d expected? The overall durability and longevity are crucial for any investment you make. Also, if the chair has any built-in electronics or speakers, it’s important they last long, as well. Another noteworthy attribute is the chair’s weight capacity and size. Some chairs might be a better fit for larger people, other chairs are better for medium to smaller people.
Ace Casual
With a 275-pound weight limit, this chair is of great quality. However, it’s nothing too surprising in either direction. We believe the build quality is roughly on par with its price point giving it an 8.9 out of 10.
X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III
Made with breathable fabric, a sturdy pedestal base, and a robust frame, this chair has incredible build quality. It’s very solid and we can’t find any issues. Overall, we give the build quality a 9.3 out of 10.

There are a few key takeaways with the construction quality; Each armrest is padded nicely, the headrest is ventilated, the left armrest has a convenient drink holder, and the entire chair along with the footrest is constructed of faux leather. As far as the overall quality, it’s pretty sturdy but nothing too surprising. For the price, I was expecting a bit higher quality material. The best part of the build is the added drink holder. Overall, we give the build quality an 8.8 out of 10.
Overall, the X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III has the best build quality.
Built-in Speakers
Some gaming chairs provide built-in speakers and others don’t. However, many people believe that gaming chairs with incorporated speakers are more valuable for gaming since it enhances a surround sound effect. But there are a few critical questions to keep in mind for chairs with built-in speakers. Are they wireless, or do you have to plug the chair in via cord? How good is the sound quality? And my personal favorite, does the chair have an integrated subwoofer that vibrates the chair according to the game?
Ace Casual
Providing two speakers near the headrest and a 4-inch subwoofer on the backside, this chair offers great sound. However, the reviews for the speakers are mixed. Many people love the sound quality, loudness, and connectivity. However, others couldn’t get the speakers to work or don’t believe they’re loud enough. We always suggest using the audio from both the TV and speakers for a surround sound effect if possible.
X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III
Here is one of the X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III strongest attributes. This chair offers two integrated speakers and a 4-inch subwoofer on the back. With AFM Audio Force Modulation Technology, the seat vibrates along with the audio that immerses you deeper into the video game. You’ll also love that the speakers are wireless. Another beneficial factor you might appreciate is the speakers are non-visible incorporated into the seat. In terms of sound quality, these speakers produce immense clarity and nice volume. This chair possibly provides the best overall sound quality of any gaming chair.

In comparison to other gaming chairs, we think this one is about average in terms of style and appearance. It doesn’t under or over-perform. You won’t be amazed nor disappointed visually. The pattern is nice, but the bottom seat is rather bulky looking. Some chairs have a bigger bottom seat but pull-it off.
X Rocker Pedestal Extreme III
We adore the overall appearance of this chair. Although the low-end is a bit larger than the rest of the body, they designed it in such a way where they pull it off. You’ll also love the dual colors and elegant patterns. The style is surely better than average.
RESPAWN-900
You can get this chair in one of five colors. However, the blue and red choices are best for enhancing your gaming set up. We believe the overall visual design is slightly above average. The primary thing that turns me off visually is the leg rest. However, the leg rest is also exceptionally comfortable.
